Not France, but pretty interesting

I have just found, on the BBC History website, a long series of short colour films made in 1928 (yes, colour) by Claude Friese-Green. They record a journey along the entire west coast of England and Scotland, and are often of fantastic quality. Have a look:

Apparently they have been in the hands of the BFI for some time, but the projection process for the 2-colour stock made showing them difficult. Now they are going to be shown on BBC2, Tuesdays 9pm. With Dan Cruickshank, but you can't have everything.

See what you mean.  Waffling on about some bird with a twig on it's head.  The programme must be REALLY bad!!  Come on Milan!!!  I can shout now!!  [:-))]
