Weather warning!

Recommended Posts

I listened to the shipping forecast this morning at dawn - every, but every, area from Viking to South-east Iceland had at least gale force 8 and up to violent storm 11 forecast for today.  Whoops!

Breezy but mild in southern Normandy/Northern Pays de la Loire.

A lovely sunny 10 degrees here - I think I should take my hangover for a walk.

hi All,

Had early shower which cleared by 9.30 then off to Chalais to collect some meat from the butcher's (open on New Years day) and back for coffee. Temp now 11-12 some grey clouds and sun trying to get through but pleasantly mild.

Have a good day all.

Well, the New Year in Pas de Calais was blown in with a Hooley that I haven't seen the likes of since the great hurricane. Rainwas like firehoses wich caused a little leaking arouind one window.  Not surprising really as the rain was horizontal at supersonic speeds!!  Still a bit windy the next day but by noon it was bright with blues skies everywhere.
