SC
Copied this from Wikipedia:Fillon is an Anglophile, according to The Guardian. His wife was born Penelope Clarke in the village of Llanover, near Abergavenny in Wales, like himself the daughter of a solicitor, and they were married in the bride's family church in June 1980. Fillon's younger brother, Pierre, an ophthalmic specialist, later married Penelope Fillon's younger sister, Jane.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fran%C3%A7ois_Fillon if you want to read more.Steve

SC
I do like the photo of them on the BBC Wales page. Do you think she works both his arms, or just his right one?[:)]He certainly seems well thought of as someone with the experience of standing up to the inevitable protests.Steve
Logan
Well this innovation is looking like the new Government are seriously intent on bringing France into the wider world. French inward navel contemplation perhaps is now a thing of the past. Vive la change![:D]
SC
I'm impressed by his appointments in so far as they are more inclusive than he promised. Whether the individuals are up to the task remains to be seen, but he seems to be living up to his promise of a new type of politics.
