woolybanana (ex tag)
Well POP PICKERS (Remember Muff Freeman?) which were the best ever LP/CD's. I nominate two: Sgt Pepper, and the concert in Central Perk by Simon and Garfunkel.

Patmobile
I like 461 Ocean Boulevard by GodandRumours by Fleetwood MacSgt. Pepper sounds dated compared with most other Beatles albums, probably because of its self-indulgent style

Ford Anglia
Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II, Led Zeppelin IV.Pink Floyd: Animals.BTW: Didn't Freeman refer to himself as "Fluff" rather than "Muff", or were you being sarcastic, (Is that right?) The only Muff I know of was in Tom Sawyer.
Pearly Spencer
nah! it was definately Muff, as in 'Muffin the Mule', 'Muff the Magic Dragon'[;-)]Led Zeppelin, yes all very good, anyone heard of Pavlov's Dog? the album was called 'at the sound of the bell' way ahead of its time. Anton Redman
Which parts of your anatomy are you using on the keyboard ? To quote Len Deighton/Harry Palmer - "Are you playing it with your elbows ? ". Alan Freeman was Fluff. The only Muff that I am aware of that can be mentioned in polite society was Muff Winwood who became an A & R man but was in the Spencer Davies band at the same time as Stevie Winwood. Central Perk is a parking space reserved for the MD in many cities in the Midlands. Joni Mitchel - Miles of AislesFairport Convention - History (or anything from that period)Jimi Hendrix - Are You ExperiencedCapt. Beefheart - Safe as MilkFlying Burrito Bros - Guilded Palance of SinFive Hand Reel - Earl of MurayBob Dylan - Bringing it all Back HomeJohn Martyn - The Tumbler.Pete Atkin - Driving Through Mythical AmericaBruce Springsteen - Darkness on the Edge of TownMartin Simpson - Smoke & MirrorsDepends how I feel and how I want to feel. Patf
Mary Poppins - just joking. The kids loved it though and played it 100 times. For good music and sentimental memories, Crosby Stills and Nash (and Young ) from 1969 and one of the Simon and Garfunkel lps, the one with Bridge over Troubled Waters. I have the piano music for that and often play the songs. Wish I could sing like them.

Pearly Spencer
brilliant Clair, David Surkamp kicks of a european tour on the 15th, unfortunately it only takes in Germany and Greece. I have two other albums, 'Lost in America' and 'Third' both are not as good as the first two that you have IMHO. Just made me listen to Julia again...thank you[:)]

Last saw Swarb and Carthy on 'The Spinners Retirement Tour' - so named because they always replied to "when will you play together again ?" with "When The Spinners Retire"A Sky digibox or with a bit more hassle a standard dish a numerique decoder gets a huge range of UK radio stations.
