SaligoBay
Camilla looked like an out of date housekeeper
I don't think Carla looked much better in that grey rag. It looked cheap, uncomfortably tight, and made her look like she has a figure like an ironing board. What WAS she thinking of!

Russethouse
Wat amazes me is the sober choice of colour, Brown and grey and the Queen in something that may have been a pretty mix of heather tones but looks like beige in the pics. Come on folks, this is spring ! Isn't a little bit of brightness appropriate ?
Patf
What about Carla's Mum's choice of colour - a purple hat with mauve suit. This season's new look, clashing colours. She did look as if she was enjoying herself though. As Gastines said, a breath of fresh air from the whole party. I thoroughly enjoyed the spectacle, and it seemed as if the other people present did too.

Hoddy
"What about Carla's Mum's choice of colour - a purple hat with mauve suit."Perhaps she'd been reading Jenny Joseph -When I am an old womanI shall wear purpleWith a red hat which doesn't go, andDoesn't suit me.Hoddy
Patf
Well quoted Hoddy [:D] Very apt. I never thought of that, though I've seen that poem before. I read that she's a classical pianist.
mint
Sorry to disagree with so many admirers here but I don't see how Bruni and Diana could even be mentioned in the same breadth. Diana was truly beautiful and had star qualities. I'm afraid that to me Bruni is merely tacky and reminds me of one Heather Mills McCartney. mint
Thanks for the video, Cathy. My worst suspicions are confirmed; she can't sing either. Sorry, Lady C, I don't think somehow that I will ever be anything but underwhelmed by Madame Sarko.Dreary weather, isn't it? I think I'll go and do something useful like the ironing. Had my surfeit of so-called celebrities and A listers and their minor talents for now. Don't worry, no chance of me ironing anybody's pyjamas!
