Cat
It's not a town or a Department, and if your map was bought in England it might be called Burgundy [;-)]
Clair
To the best of my knowledge:Nuits-St-Georges is a area of the Bourgogne known for its wines.Côte d'Or is a department in the Bourgogne region.Dijon is the préfecture of the Côte d'Or department and the administrative capital of the Bourgogne.Bresse is a region south east of the Bourgogne. It is also the name of a ski resort on the Vosges department.
