Kitty
OK - there's a first time for everything and it's the first time that I have posted photographs. Let's see if it works...Here is my before (termites) and after (termites)...

Geordie girl
well done cathy you did it. I've never seen a termite so i don't know what i'm looking for so dont go anywhere else with your photies. Get them on here. I love to see other peoples pics,
Kitty
Geordie girl - Termites don't like being seen, that's why they are so scary, building construction wise. We bought our house cheaply because they were in the floor. I did get to see a couple as they scurried away whenever a plank was lifted. They are white and like woodlice, but much, much smaller. Did you use the original sink that was in the old kitchen and put it in your new one ?
no , if you look close the original had a lump missing at the front of the r/h bowl , so it had to go ( it was a heavy beast)
Geordie girl
Ah yes i can see now, we've got one of them old sinks and i love it, not a mark on it.I wanted to refit it in the new kitchen but it won't go in as it needs to sit on top of a free standing unit[:(]
Kitty
My old and solid sink is in the garden, using an outdoor tap, for washing sand off feet (the Medoc is built on sand), filling up buckets etc. (One of the best things that I did. Ignore the debris of 4 children around it.)
