Kitty
My daughter has sent me a text from her (French) boarding school, asking if the trains are on strike tomorrow (Wednesday 7th) because she is coming home. Presumably she must have heard a rumour. It's too late to watch the TV news. Does anyone know the answer?

Kitty
Thanks ClairI have been looking at train times from Bordeaux and couldn't understand why one had to change at Cenon this weekend, [8-)] now I know![:)]
Cendrillon - I was looking at trains on Saturday and was diverted from Bordeaux to Libourne. I didn't twig why until I read your post, even though I was the original poster.Clair's website says (I think) that all will be back to normal today (11th). But the lunchtime radio news was suggesting otherwise.
Cendrillon
From the website I understand they are doing major engineering / maintenance work. I have the impression that all will be back to normal on Tuesday and that they are still working on Monday which of course is a bank holiday in France. Brilliant website Clair, I have bookmarked it.
