judie tzuke - one day I will live in france

I remember someone playing this song to my husband and me years ago because of our dream, and we loved it.

Haven't heard it since though I've always kept an eye out for the album (called Left Hand Talking as I now know) but I tracked down the lyrics and they are a) beautiful and b) especially poignant since my lovely man died.

BUT not even the Judie Tzuke website has the song to download, and iTunes has never heard of it either.

I just wondered if anyone out there has any ideas, or a copy kicking about, or even just remembers it?

Oh my gosh thank you both SOOOO much!

I have placed my order.

Wonder why her own website says the album is unavailable.

Feel quite emotional at the thought of hearing it again now....

Thanks again

Hi all, thanks for all the messages. Album ordered, very happy. Twinkle thank you for your kind offer. Much appreciated.

On the (other) Twinkle subject, my big sister used to play Terry all the time when I was little and I loved it. I seem to remember she was a posh girly - daughter of a (local to us - Surrey/sorry) Tory MP?

Dick, I think many of us remember places like that, the Cosmo Bar under the railway arch at Romford Station comes to mind.

Twinkle, if I were at one of your gigs you'd know all about it, I'd be the one so far into the music .............  It was the other Twinkle for sure, ABC Romford, 1960s/70s something and you can't be that old French Twinkle.

One of the benefits about being a young Police Cadet in those days was that once people realised that I was seriously into music I got sent to all the pop concerts for crowd control.  I always managed to get inside the cinemas (ABC and Odeon Romford) and saw all the great bands of the 1960s, met a lot of them backstage, and of course the concerts were full of all those lovely young women, all around my age.

And when I went into the Police at 19, because I was a music fanatic, I got sent everywhere to pop concerts and had an even better time.  Long hair, beard, dressed more or less how I wanted to, drug squad (didn't arrest anybody for drugs tho at the concerts, having too much fun and didn't like to upset people at the concerts, quiet word usually worked) and had just about the best time a 19/20/21 year old single man could have AND I got paid for it.  I actually got paid to go listen to the greatest bands in the world!!!!

Happy Days.
