Iceni
I have never understood this obsession with clean windows - particularly in France. In summer they are open and in winter they and the shutters are closed.John

Belle
B/B you are obviously very excited about your new window 'Mate' so I'm ready to hear all about it, I'm a sad cow, and love cleaning, so tell me the benifits of this product before I rush out and buy it. A new cleaning product to me is like a class of fine wine would be to everybody else.

As to whether they're dirtier than yours or not, I couldn't say. On a scale of 1 to 10, I suppose ours would rate 8.Why else do you think I needed to clean them? That of course, and I have visitors coming next week. Can't possibly let them think my standards have slipped since coming to France, can I? mint
Wooly, the dusting is the same. Once you have ignored the dust for a while, it doesn't actually get any thicker and you will still be able to see the squiggle that you made in it with your finger!
