nectarine
Hi there, I am trying to book a rail journey through France but SNCF's site asks me to specify the 'to and from' stations, whereas I should like to browse the stations en route to decide which suits me best. For example, Bordeaux to Poitiers shows me only the departure and arrival times and not the stations en route which might be more suitable for my journey. Or is there some kind of route m ap showing all the lines and stations?I have looked at the SNCF site but can't find this kind of information .... can any kind soul point me in the right direction or website? Many thanks
Cat
I've used this map in the past. http://www.alleuroperail.com/eurorailway-maps/france-map.htmIt doesn't show every station, but can at least give you an idea of the lines.

cooperlola
I find the TER websites far better for maps and journey planning:http://www.ter-sncf.com/Click on the region, then "cartes et horaires" and voila.[:)]

andyh4
http://www.bahn.de/international/view/en/index.shtml If you input the stations at each and of the journey it will give you the times of trainsunderneath is a "details for all" button. Click this and it will show all stops and times on the route. The potential problem with just a map is that some stations are served very irregularly and just knowing that there is an open station does not mean that any trains will stop there on say Tuesday morning. Edit: and I have just found that there is a map/graphic option above the list of connections
