La Poste & Collisimo

Recommended Posts

Why not find a box at home and use old newspaper? I don't know if you know this but if you are register on Ebay France you can do your Collisimo at home. You weigh your packet then click on the send button in My Ebay and it takes you to to a prefilled screen, you simply enter the weight and it takes the money via PayPal (you need a PayPal account) then prints the Collisimo ticket. Stick it on the box then all you have to do is hand it over at the post office, they stamp it and the jobs done. Very good system, I use it all the time.

I'll look into that. Wasn't looking forward to spending an hour in the PO doing this.

Thanks.
Can you get bubble wrap and special colissimo boxes at small post offices?

Have several ebay items I need to post and have discovered that the million sheets of bubble wrap I had stored have disappeared just when I need them.

Typically, they will reappear once I have finished posting.
Bubble wrap is everywhere.  The Bricos have it as do the Office Stationery Suppliers.

Living in a small village, bubble wrap isn't as easy to come by.... (even though I had two bin bags full of it. I remember where I put it now. It forms part of the insulation for my new office!)

Anyway, didn;t have any boxes, so took a trip to the local PO and the lady put everything into colissimo boxes for me, and where there was too much space, had a little packaging that she put in. She also had some bubble wrap too.

Excellent service and I was in and out within 15 mins!
