cooperlola
This is a very complicated subject and the cost depends upon many things, and may not be your only problem! Start by having a look at our website, in particular the bits on insurance HEREDo you have an E form cover? If so, you may be able to get the majority (around 70%) of your cost met by the UK for up to 30 months. Then, assuming your wife gets her UK state old aged pension at 60, she can then get an E121 with you as a dependent, which gives the same level of cover. Then all you need (and you can take the risk and do without) is top-up cover to take care of the shortfall. If you have no E form cover, then you will need full private insurance. But our website explains all this muchmore fully. It is voluntary, and we have no commercial interests whatsoever, btw.Good luck for the future and for your move.
