dave21478
Countless hundreds of what appear to be ants with wings are currently pouring out of a few small cracks in my bedroom wall. Is this something to be worried about? A quick googling shows that large amounts of flying ants are being reported all over the place due to the hot weather.Tomorrow, I will buy a fumigator "bomb" from the local hardware place (its a wee tin that you open and light the wick, which produces smoke that kills all insects). This will obviously take care of those in the room, but what of the ants left in the wall? ant powder seems to be having little effect.Looks like I will be sleeping on the sofa tonight. ViVienne
we bought some ant killer that had a long plastic tube that you squirt into the cracks in the walls and spaces between the beams, it worked really well, we seem to have this problem every 3 years or so.
