NormanH Posted January 2, 2010 Share Posted January 2, 2010 Recently published figures from the 2007 census show:RegionsDépartementsThere are some surprises to me.For example that the population of the Aude is so much bigger that that of the Lot, and bigger than the Aveyron.It also explains in part the different perspectives on French life.People living in the Gers (190,776) the Creuse (123,861) or the Lozère (80,995) will have a different experience from those living in departments with over a million inhabitants..
