M
Mrs M, who is in France at the moment, has 2 flights with Air France booked for tomorrow, and she has heard a rumour that there will be strike action. Air France say they know nothing about it, and I can't find anything on Google.fr. Has anyone heard anything?M
M
Well, I guess that's a 'no', then. She will be relieved!M
Will
It's not Air France on strike. French air traffic controllers have called a strike from 15-23 Sept. So all airlines and all flights, including those flying over France and not landing, will be affected in some way.As you have not heard from Air France, the company obviously plans to operate the booked flights, but be prepared for delays and last-minute cancellations. Quillan
I just checked Ryanair and none of their flights to France appear to be disrupted during that period.
Pickles
I just checked Ryanair and none of their flights to France appear to be disrupted during that period.
Ryanair flights (and those of other airlines) suffered some delays yesterday and this is continuing today. Easyjet cancelled some flights yesterday and have cancelled some today. The worst day is likely to be the 23rd, when a general strike has been called, with the likelihood of airport staff walking out. Guess when I am due to fly?RegardsPickles
