expatgirl Posted May 20, 2006 Share Posted May 20, 2006 I know that for French inheritance/tax purposes, foreign real estate is miraculously exempt - but does this extend to cooperative apartments? My husband and I recently purchased cooperative shares in a building in New York; would that be considered real estate as far as the French are concerned?
