Quillan
It's in The Sun as well (better picture of the TOWN (not village)) http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3513202/The-Sun-tracks-down-paedophile-twins-to-sleepy-French-village.htmlActually looking at the photo's in the DM the one on the right looks familiar as in I might have seen him in town once or twice in passing.Local paper http://www.lindependant.com/articles/2011-04-07/les-jumeaux-pedophiles-anglais-vivaient-a-quillan-depuis-trois-ans-362895.phpWe had a mini riot the other week amongst French teenagers in a local bar. One was stabbed, 20+ Gendarmes surrounded the place and they locked them in (with the exception of the one that was stabbed of course) till about 06:30 while they took statements and searched the teenagers and the bar for the weapon. The bar is currently closed and the owner in local jail, not for the stabbing but for having a live band with no licence or whatever. Thankfully according to the local news the victim is making a recovery in Carcassonne hospital.Surprisingly, talking to an English couple yesterday who asked why the bar was closed, it seems none of expats know about the stabbing. Oh to have a pair of rose coloured glass's, they seemed quite shocked and said that they thought crime was non existent in France. [;-)]
woolybanana
The teenagers must have been Brits, then!
Quillan
No French which rather dispels the myth that French kids are much better behaved that English ones I guess.
HoneySuckleDreams
To make a serious point, surely locking up your sons and daughters would make more sense until he/they are caught?
