Taxi Lights

Quillan

Recommended Posts

The lights indicate which tarif is applicable.

Borrowed from a site:

... One passed me the other day and it looked like Blackpool illuminations.
Yeah, I wondered this the other day.   I have seen two taxis recently, both in out-of-town situations, which seemed to have specially gaudy (?red) lighting on the roof.  I almost took them for emergency vehicles at first sight.   I have never noticed this before.

On the subject of taxis - to tip or not to tip?

I took one in La Rochelle last week, from station to airport, and when I gave the guy a tip he was so effusively grateful that I thought he was going to embrace me...
