"Goebbels bis" seems to be taking the threat seriously.

When one considers the sinister parallel policing force innuendo that has always been scarcely concealed within the Gaullist wing of right wing french politics.

The influence of the RFP in the Oradour sur Glane case comes to mind.

But pride of place should be given to the RFP replacement; that harmless Loid de 1901 Charitable organisation called the SAC.

Indeed the current threat on the life of Francois Hollande is signed off by the SAC; of course it was Mitterand who was responsible for outlawing the SAC after the "tuérie" in marseilles; so the threat to Hollande has historical connections.

Not mentione in OP but worth a look at MIL, reputedly the successor to the SAC, I expect yoy remember the " lone nutter", I believe NOT, who tried to gun down Chirac during the 4th july parade. I'll leave you to source that as it is recent stuff. But worth remembering that Chirac was not loved by all the right wing; already Hollande is being derided by "Sarko's friends" as being nothing more than Chirac II.
