pachapapa
[:D]Last Saturday when the group containing a "Dave" left Birmingham for Geneva, en route to Samoëns in the Grand Massif for a sking holiday;Although Somoëns is only just over an hour from the airport at Geneva, there was consternation that they might not arrive at the Chalet before the start of the game.G & D had been at the Dublin game earlier but had bought back an Irish flag for a disconsolate Declan.[;-)]
woolybanana
Well, my Welsh friends in Cardiff are having a hell of a day, so they tell me: the lady of the house is dressed as a daffodil and prancing round the streets singing and hoping the tutu bit won't burst and frighten the dray horses as it did last year and the year befotre and the year before and...... This year she has put in a gusset and zip purchased from the army. And her husband is out helping get the sheep down from the hills for the other annual rictual which cannot be mentioned in decent company.Happy Daffy Day Dears!! pachapapa
Looks like the celtic sking party hit lucky with the weather, reputedly the best week of the season, the weather seems to be breaking now with "perturbations" moving in from the atlantic on saturday, already dull in deux chèvres. Only minus point for the week was being on station at the same time as the parigot academy.[:P]
mint
Pacha, LOL, forever more I shall think of it as deux chèvres and, instead of seeing the 2 rivers on your sign boards, I'd think of 2 goats locking horns.....[:D]Edit: er.......you aren't already Brahms & Lizt this early in the day?[;-)]
