andyps
Can anyone recommend a courier service within France? My daughter has been in the Alps for the ski season and is returning to the UK in early May, We are in France next week but as we are in Brittany it is quite a long way for us to travel to help but thought it may be cheaper to get a courier to deliver her excess baggage to us in Brittany rather than getting it sent back to the UK so any recommendations would be welcome.Obviously we can try someone like DHL but they tend to be expensive when you don't have an account. Gardian
Bit of a deafening silence!SNCF do a baggage forwarding service, but not unreasonably they appear to require you to have bought a ticket from them.DHL / TNT et al would seem to be the solution, particularly as excess baggage (for say a 25kg suitcase) would be extortionately expensive with an airline. The good news is that at least they're pretty reliable.Forecast: daughter does the homework for the best deal locally, Dad rings up to pay. andyps
Thanks, I suspect you are right about DHL/TNT/UPS etc.Your forecast is only partly correct - I think she wants Dad to do the homework (apparently I have better internet access) and then pay!
