mint
Depends whether you are buying or selling, Wools..........sorry, just getting my own back after you were so off-hand about my anemones![:D]To be a bit more serious and now that you have brought this up, I wonder if they are treated like "movable" or "immovable" things? woolybanana
Well, Sweets, if it was anything like the overlarge female person I saw waddling down the street the other day with a huge burger (or burgher if you insist!) in her paw, I should say immovable. My feeling is that if they have wheels, they are mobile homes and not subject to VAT on resale. If this is the case, why the he ll are some Brits being charged VAT when they sell them? Maybe there is a little rattette here.Sunday Dwiver, any ideas, svp? Pickles
Can any wise soul please tell me whether TVA is payable on the resale of mobile homes?
IIRC, it depends on who is selling. If it is a private person, then they will not charge TVA. If it is a company (or if the person selling it had recovered the original TVA because it was bought for letting), then yes. Quillan
We bought a second hand mobile home and I have spent a couple of hours looking for the bill and no TVA was charged. We bought it from a company that dealt in secondhand mobile homes. All their mobile homes came from several camp sites where they were replacing old for new. It was previously rented out by the camp site owner. We also got free delivery which I estimated to be valued at about 200 Euros.
