Lost cheque

If I was at home, I think that I have this information to hand, so can any of you clever people find this information for me.

The insurance companie in France sent a cheque for repairs, as the appt above flooded the one below.  The cheque was put in the post to credit the bank account. The cheque never got as far as the bank. The insurance company was told, they cancelled the cheque and a full year later they still have not sent out another cheque. So an old lady is being messed around and even told not to bother ringing and that they are dealing with it.
