Sad but true: the decline of a Southern Town

Recommended Posts

Le Monde today paints a grim picture of the decline of a once thriving city.

Far from the rosy picture of  A place in the Sun.

How is your town or village holding up?

Its not just there is it, it is happening all over France. On the BBC news today, I was listening while working rather than watching, it said France now has the second highest unemployment within the EU with Spain being top. Along with unemployment comes all the social problems, places going down hill, robbery, vandalism etc.
