idun
For those living alone, well, do it yourself, pay someone, or if you are lucky get some mug to do it for free. It isn't my favourite activity, le ménage, although I don't like living in squalor, so it gets done. And who does it, depends on the household workload, but basically everyone does a bit.So what if living with someone, sharing with someone and that other person refuses point blank to do anything at all. And as I see it, becomes a bully when it isn't done? Sadly, I know of too many who live in homes where one person is waited on hand and foot, fed, washing/ironing done and housework too, not as if they work themselves or do anything more strenuous than zap from channel to channel. I ask as I know what I would do. What would you do?

dave21478
The person not pulling their weight needs to be given a hefty kick in the balls and/or fanny and told to smarten up or get out. I have ZERO time, patience or tolerance for a freeloading partner.I hate cleaning up, but it has to be done. I keep the kitchen and chuntie clean, but am pretty slack with the rest of the house. Currently single though, so its of no consequence to anyone else.Might have to clear the lounge coffee table in the next day or so....I doubt if it will take many more empty beer bottles......but then I have to take a massive load to the bottle bank, combined with the whisky bottles and the neighbours watch and assume I am a beer-soaked jake....which isn't far from the truth these days to be honest.....I should really take smaller loads more often and use a different bottle bank, but who has time for that sort of nonsense?
