First dip!

Recommended Posts

After the last couple of days of thundery weather, the water in our raised pool has quickly reached the critical temperature at which I usually force myself to go for a dip... [:'(]

It has also been windy and I had to remove a lot of the leaves which had been floating in the water despite the bubble cover before I made myself go in, but I did go in eventually. And once I'd dropped up to shoulders, it wasn't so bad! [:D]

I managed to stay around 20mn in the water, which is quite good for a first dip!

And in case you were wondering, the water was at 21°C (69-70°F) [:-))]

Clair ...............

Its been blisteringly hot down here the last week or so and Mrs G went in two days ago (and hasn't been seen since!)

I always reserve myself for extreme temps and we were up there today. After a morning of extreme labour (get up, have brekkie, take the compost down to the thingy), I was a bit damp around the gills.

Sheer heaven!   Followed by an afternoon following the Royal Ascot racing.

Forecast to be dodgy tomorrow though.

I went in again yesterday, although the water was cooler... Not so bad either!

Thought about it today, but there's been that much rain and the air temperature had dropped so much, I just can't make myself go in!

Been in my above ground pool 4 or 5 times, I'm happy to go in at anything over 20 so long at the sun is shining and it's warm out. It got up to about 24 before the weather turned again.

Good job we didn't come here just for the sunshine !!!
