idun
http://www.leparisien.fr/politique/vincent-lambert-la-loi-leonetti-ne-suffit-pas-selon-marisol-touraine-16-01-2014-3500415.phpI was very disturbed when I saw this on tv last night. Apparently the young man had not wanted to be kept alive if he was ever the worst happened and he was very badly injured. His doctors and wife have taken this into account, but his parents have fought their decision, in fact fought this law and won.Why would the court go against the fundamental principals of this law?It is very sad, but I really do not know what the parents want. And if they want him alive but handicapped that badly, then perhaps he should be sent home with them to do all the caring that he never wanted.
