A question of semantics?

Recommended Posts

She is quoting the bible which I for one and pretty

sure that she does not actually live by every word.

Levitique

18.22

Tu ne coucheras point avec un homme comme on couche avec

une femme. C'est une abomination.

And here is another abomination, which she ignores, as she wears trousers!

Deuteronome

22.5

Une femme ne portera point un habillement d'homme, et un

homme ne mettra point des vêtements de femme; car quiconque fait

ces choses est en abomination à l'Éternel, ton Dieu.

Got to love it, IF these people who spout their venom actually lived

by every last thing the bible said, then we would be back in the

dark ages, bit like the taliban want really!

Me an atheist, would now most certainly be classed as a terrorist in Saudi

Arabia, because apparently that is what atheists are under a new

lax, and any found will probably be put to death.

Not as if I disagree with some things the bible says, as a general

rule I am against murder and theft and other such basic things that

help society live in peace, but I don't need a 'holy' book to tell

me that.

If you want a laugh, a browse though Leviticus is a hoot.

I think he must have been well into the recreational herbs

There's pages on 'Clean' and 'Unclean' animals which seems largely arbitary (what did he have against owls?)

and loads of wierd stuff like not growing more than one crop in a field (there goes my potager) and not wearing cloth of more than one thread (is polycotton OK?)

The homosexual thing is lumped in with all this nonesense and much more so why pick on this one thing?
