Pickles
If the idea of skiing down one of the streets in Sete (or watching other people do the skiing) appeals to you then put the weekend of the 6/7 December in your diary. http://www.midilibre.fr/2014/11/04/neige-a-sete-et-pourquoi-pas-un-record-du-monde,1075891.phpThe last time we went along it was great fun. Boots and skis are available on site for the brave.
NormanH
From ma résidence secondaire I could hobble across the slopes in the Monts D'Olmes in 30 mins...I would have thought Sète more suitable for water skiing...
Pickles
Ah, but they import the snow!
Gardengirl
Fishing, boating, swimming, eating, water jousting, lots of things I might think of in connection with Sète, but skiing beats the lot! Sounds fun - where Slough leads, Sète follows! [:D]
Judith
Well if it stays as warm as it has been, it'll melt pretty sharpish!
Pierre ZFP
I am so up for that.I'm quite a distance from there (too much to drive for a weekend) so can I fly anywhere close with an airline that will also take my skis (or at least my boots) ? To be honest, you'd be better off using the hire boots and skis that they supply: the run is not that long, and I wouldn't want to risk damaging expensive kit.
