woolybanana
On Sunday there will be a marche republicaine in support of Charlie Hebdo. You will be able to take part in your local big town.BUT, it is being organized and led by the political parties, particularly Mr Hollande, who have decided to exclude the FN. (Cartain silly very left wing Monty Pythonesque parties have decided to hold their own march).Surely, excluding them is anti-democratic; whether we like it or not, the do represent a huge number of French people, and all should be represented?Either that or no parties should be represented, just people, led by workers from Charlie?Such a pity that Mr Hollande could not apparently resist making political capital out of this horros. NormanH
As usual you have it a5se over t1t.Hollande has never excluded anybody (if you can find any thing he said to this effect I will retract)On the other hand Marine LePen has done her usual 'victim' act claiming falsely that the FN is excluded, precisely to provoke the sort of reaction that you have just shown...The main problem of this march (as we saw last night where our FN mayor invited Eric Zemmour to the demonstration in support of the victims) is that this becomes an ugly racist, anti-Islam divisive march. woolybanana
Read this, Norman; perfectly clear the FN has been excluded. Given that Hollande is the leader of the left wing gang, he must be behind this or at least approve it.http://www.lemonde.fr/politique/article/2015/01/09/l-union-nationale-se-brise-sur-la-question-du-fn_4552529_823448.htmlRemember, Norman, I did not say I thought they should be there, but you can't have a national march if you consciously exclude representatives of one of the biggest parties in the country. NormanH
le chef de l’Etat a clamé vendredi que « tous les citoyens peuvent venir » à ce type de rassemblements, qui ne font l’objet d’« aucun contrôle ».
