idun
This has been a problem in Paris for ages and ages. I only knew about it as it was on french news.......... last year, or maybe even the year before.Quite horrid really.
alittlebitfrench
The Daily Mail at its best. There are loads of parks in Paris . So they close 9 to do their routine pest control. OMG....its a plague. Given the amount of tourists dropping food whilst gorping at the awful tower I guess it is natural for there to be rats in certain parks. I guess it is the same in London. As for the pollution, I bet the Chinese (who seem to be the majority of tourists) probably don't know what all the fuss is about given the state of their cities.Paris is not dirty BTW. idun
France 2, Journal de 20h tonight, headline was pollution. Speed reductions in Paris, Lyon and Grenoble and heavy pollution in all three. Also, hospitals inundated with patients with breathing difficulties. And then it showed London too, because that too is polluted.
