we are hoping to set up a business providing holidays for british families with children who have a physical disability,  we are crb checked here in the uk is there an equivillent in france and what other legal issues would be involved in setting up such a business.  The business will be non profit making.

Yes there is, not sure of what its called, but a friend of mine is a Scout leader.  I believe though it has to be updated every 3 months and also I believe its free.

I heard of some British people in the Vendee who have fitted out a B&B for disabled/handicapped, and have obtained the "Tourisme et Handicap" logo. I wonder if they could help you with information?
