Court Permission to Emigrate

We are currently trying to emigrate to France from the U.K.  Our 9 year old daughter is from a previuos marriage so we need permission form the court to go.  The court have denied this for a number of reasons.  The majority of reasons are based on us provideing evidence, eg. proof that we can earn a living.  We plan to appeal against the decision so that we have the opportunity to give the relevant evidence. Has anyone else been through this and if so what advise can you give us.
