Breath Tests

Amidst all the Brexit misery, I couldn’t help being amused by a (deadly serious) piece in today’s Midi Libre.

It appears that the local ‘Association’ of Boules players have been earnestly discussing the need for random breath tests. It wasn’t crystal clear as to whether there was a need for players to be under or over a set figure (!)

The problem was described graphically by one of the Association dignitaries ......... “Well, you have one or two before play starts, and then maybe a top-up at half time. You certainly have a few glasses at the end of the game.”

They are clearly taking the issue of doping in sport seriously !!
