idun
No proper posts really today, but blasts from the past certainly ressurected.Opas, powerdesal etc etc etc.Of all the posters I saw mentioned there were many I wish would post again, or maybe some are under new names what with the board misbehaving so often. I for one was pleased to see these old posts, it felt a little like looking at old photos and made me rather nostalgic. To the person who dug them out, well, one can only wonder WHY? A very very odd/strange thing to do!
NickP
I wondered about that, it has happened a couple of times lately. OK occasionally a newcomer picks up on an old thread, but some of the posts are just random and the last posts were a few years old. still, as you say Idun good to get the memory jogged
idun
Now, at my age, a memory jog is a very good thing. My problem is that I have, even when young, always been lousy with remembering names. A prompt is a very good thing for me.The odd thing is that I do not know how they find these old threads, when I do an occasional search for something, I rarely find things which I know were discussed in the past. BritinBretagne
The posts I saw were all linked by the word Fax.
Loiseau
I agree, idun, it was a lovely wallow in nostalgia to see those old names...
woolybanana
Remember Christine Animal? She once slipped me a dog in the station car park in Niort. Still got the little rugger. Some late night squabbles with Dick Smith and Ricky Rocket.Didnt my sister turn up at one time, Randywoolybanana, and even one of my daughters?
