He is currently paid 10 euros an hour and last year earned 500 euros. Is it legal to accept this money. My friend has not declared the income or that he is employed to the tax authorities. I do not want to end up behind bars !!Chris[/quote]Of course it isn't, but I'm sure you knew that (not that you are likely to end up behind bars).If you want to be legal, I suggest that you ask the property owners to pay you on the cheque d'emploi system - plenty of info on this site.
