Jacqui Too
Hi can anyone recommend a small quite B&B just outside Cherbourg for one night only (going on the 11.15am ferry home). We will have two small dogs but they will be sleeping in the car. We've got fed up with travelling all day then an evening sailing only to get back near midnight and another 4.5 hour drive home!Thank you
mint
Jacqui, if you don't mind basic, the Campanile chain hotels normally take dogs.
Jacqui Too
Thanks for the reply, I have stayed in one at CDG airport a few years ago, as you say basic but served a purpose at the time.Doggies really don't mind sleeping in the car they are used to long trips now and only raise there heads when we stop.Any more suggestions please. laroux
Hi Jackie,My parents travel to Cherbourg quite regularly with their 2 dogs and they normally stay in a holiday home. Its not a B&B of course but its a more spacious option if they're with the dogs and they have a bit more freedom when they're away. They're pretty much out all day and normally spend a lot of their time on the Cap de la Hague with the dogs so its quite a flexible option for them. They just like to have somewhere to rest and sleep in the evenings! The last three times they've been, they've stayed in the old town where there are quite a few restaurants near by so you could always have breakfast either in the town or buy some fresh croissants to have at home? Just a suggestion anyways!Hope you have a good holiday!
