Gardian
Nice item, but don't we know it!Apart from an occasional blow of the Mistral - pretty local to us - we've had no rain to speak of for 6 wks and not much before that, as you'd expect during the Summer. The upside is plenty of 'snoozing' afternoons, the downside is no serious work after midday because it's just too hot (low 30's). It's Global Warming.
Clarkkent
Isn't it a little early to be talking about an Indian Summer? I always thought that it was associated with St Martin's day in November and is sometimes called St Martin's summer.
sid
Indian Summer relatess to any autumnal period of fine weather with higher than usual temperatures, not specifically November.
