Choochoo
Hi everyoneWe are finally hoping to move over during week of 7th June ........at last, after many holdups. Yippeeeeeeeeee !!Does anyone know the cheapest way to get a 7.5ton truck over to either Cherbourg or Caen ? Brittany Ferries want 225.00 each way plus VAT and TVA. But we do get free meals on board, Oh, now I think its great value, I dont think. This is on the same Ferry as the better half is taking the car( MPV) plus Dogs for half that price.Any suggestions would be appreciated.John
Em
Hi think this is about the best you will do on the western routes. You could consider a shorter crossing further east but then you've got to consider time/fuel. Don't forget it also includes a cabin (which by the way could be shared with another trucker !) and the free meal only applies to the people in the lorry, so when you check in I should say there are two of you even if one is in the car.
