Fast service, Portsmouth to Cherbourg and Caen

Brittany Ferries and Incat have released details of the charter of a fast ferry to operate the above route. I for one had thought that BF was most likely to be continuing the arrangement P&O had with Danish ferry company Mols Linien which provided the Caen fast service in 2004 but it would appear BF is chartering a different, larger, ship and operating it itself (as opposed to the Poole-Cherbourg service which is operated by Condor for BF).

The press release also confirms that the Duc de Normandie is being sold, which will please a lot of people.
