Stocky
The problem appears to be a broken wire on one of the car ramps. could take some time to repair. Hope its not too long, as although we are travelling by Speedferries on Friday week I am sure the Calais ferries will block the berths in Dover rather than float around off Calais. Clarkkent
The problem appears to be a broken wire on one of the car ramps. could take some time to repair. And in addition other berths are not available because they are closed for planned maintenance. Russethouse
According to yesterdays paper the berths at Dover have been modified so that only 1 or 2 of the them are useable by P&0 or Stena boats, the port authority is going to alter them but also expects P& O and Stena to modify the boats !!!As a spokesman for one of the companies said, its a bit like expecting British Airways to lop a few feet of the wings because the terminal is badly designed - Happy Days !!Perhaps Will knows more........ Stocky
Gay, Even worse, it states 2 berths have been modified and only one or two P & O ferries aon 1 seafrance. this means they will be unusable for50% of the day.
