le val charente
Just been reading in today's Charente Libre that the airport at Angouleme is about to run flights to/from London, starting hopefully next spring, and they have 5 low-cost airlines interested. Does anyone have any more info on this?
GRT17
Val, do keep us posted about the new Angouleme route. BTW For those that live on the Isle on Man, there is talk of a new route starting soon, IOM to Paris, could be useful. Gill (99 and 17)
John87
Would be interesting from a competition point of view although surely Ryanair would'nt be interested as too close to La Rochelle and Limoges?
bizzer
I was hoping it was going to be from Birmingham, Manchester or East Midlands to Angouleme--- but then again that is me being selfish......Cheers Barry
le val charente
Yes I agree that this area is already well served by Ryanair flights from Stansted (suits us!!) - this may be a factor in the decision of which company gets to run this route - I've no idea how these things work!
