Alexis
I had booked some time ago to sail from Calais to Dover but unforseen circumstances - my Dad telling the nurses that there was someone to look after him when he left hospital after a major operation and his swift exit - meant that I wanted to sail a couple of days before....no problem. Then, arriving somewhat early for my booked ferry (five hours) they bundled me on board.Regular members will know my horror of driving in the UK now but it was great. Up to London, M25, M11 and then the A1 up to God's Country. It was the thought of driving around London, even on a Sunday morning, which tipped me out of bed at 4amGoing to book for when we go later in the year. 1100km each way but don't you just love it when you beat Mappy's estimated time?Vroom vroom bip bip.............. moon
Couldnt agree more, good prices through ferrysale.com and good service. Virtually always get you on an earlier crossing if you arrive early.Bob
