Chucullain
Does anyone know if Transmanche will add a surcharge if you fail to return in the same day on their Newhaven - Dieppe service? Their terms and conditions dont specify this but other carriers claim they will charge your credit card for the (extra) cost of a single trip if you fail to return
kip
Theoretically they can but I think you'll find Transmanche are still not on a computerised booking in system so.....
Will
I think that misuse of special offer fares (e.g. day trips) to gain a monetary advantage counts as fraud and is included in the various international conventions on passenger transport, so does not necessarily need to be spelled out in the terms and conditions..But Transmanche Ferries is one of the few carriers where you can buy tickets for cash, as I understand it, so you would probably succeed with this particular fiddle. Transmanche is up for privatisation so probably not too bothered at present - any new owner might tighten things up though.
