woollies
We own 6500sq m deemed agricultural land north of Charente Maritime. Our question is this;1) Can this land be changed to building land?2) If so, how do we go about it?In anticipation!Woollies
Gastines
First stop the Mairie, someone in the office usually knows if it is a possible. If not make an appointment with the Maire and he/she should be able to say if it is feasable. We went down this route and after his VERBAL yes, we then had a Geometre to re-measure the plot and get the required permissions and registration for building land. You should allow 2000E for costs. It may be that you will only be allowed to build on one part and you should also take into consideration the access and water/electricity supplies. Some communes aren't allowing new buildings to proceed, even after permission has been granted, if main drainage works are planned or in the pipeline to coin a phrase.Bonne Chance.Regards.
