Just found out out about child insurance needed for school registration plus rules for bringing pets over .... does anyone know of a good "checklist" of legal things we have to do before we move out to France. Nick Trollope Posted June 30, 2007 Share Posted June 30, 2007 I haven't got/can't really tell you where to find a checklist (other than here, of course!), but I can tell you that you don't need school insurance to register a child in school (just on the 1st day of term) and that if you want to register a child in school you need to hurry up. Nothing much happens in French schools over the summer and senior schools have broken up, primaries break up next week. Your initial approach must be to your local Mairie, but they will pass you on to the school to resister... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
