Anton Redman
The French Language Brittany Ferries website has a 'Discover England' offering weekend and 7 day crossings at reduced rate. Has anybody ever booked one ? All the selection I have treid either say the crossing is not available or produce a price which is the same as the standard booking for the route /Any advice on sourcing anything on this route ? At present Speed Ferries via Bolougne and a French overnight stop in a decent hotel is looking about Euros 300 cheaper.
Will
Many of Brittany Ferries' offers from France are only available by phone, not on the internet. It's also worth looking at LD Lines from Le Havre to Portsmouth, or Transmanche from Dieppe to Newhaven, either of which may prove more economical than the extra distance travelling to and from Boulogne and Dover.
