Winter flights from Carcassonne

Recommended Posts

Have just been trying to book a flight to London and back in November and was a bit shattered to find the only return flights are once a day at 6.20am.    Has anyone any idea if this is likely to change?  Surely there are at least two flights most of the time, even in winter.

You are luck, up here in Yorkshire i have been trying to book a cheap flight from Leeds/Bradford to Bergerac or Manchester to anywhere south of Limoges and a) they are virtually non existent... and b) they aint cheap for Bergerac airport using Flybe the price was something in the region of £300 return and only on a Saturday and from Manchester the same price but only a little bit more regular. It seems to me that the era of cheap flights has not reached the areas north of Watford Gap and probably never will do.

You may well find that as Ryanair also have flights to Carcasonne from East Midlands and Liverpool in the winter that the need for more than one flight from Stansted is no longer necessary. The 6.20 am departure I agree is not the best time, but I suspect that it is convenient for business people wanting to go to Toulouse.

Whilst, it may not be as convenient, have you considered BA  Gatwick to Toulouse as there are a choice of 3 flight per day and currently in November they are available at £77pp including all surcharges and taxes.
