Jollity Farm
can someone tell me if I'm being dim , but Ryanair advertising free flights (plus taxes etc) till end of June, trying to book flight to Limoges in May, not school holiday - comes up as 39.99 out and 29.99 back. What am I doing wrong- is it me having a senior moment?
RumziGal
They probably mean that the flight itself is free, i.e. the 1p part. You'll still have to pay taxes and no doubt wheelchair levy and luggage if you have any. Oh; and credit card charge? My dad had a Ryanair credit flight that gave him "free" flights and that's what happened.
RumziGal
Sorry, just noticed what you were actually asking! [:)]The taxes are different because each country charges a different amount in airport tax etc.
toni
I think what the poster may mean is 'where are the free flights'?? If you go onto the Ryanair site and click'find lowest fairs' at the top of the homepage you will be able put in your destination and dates and it will tell you on what dates,if any, the elusive 'free' flights are to be had. Unfortunately you will have to add in taxes etc also.
dave
Yes, I booked a flight to Dinard yesterday for 1p, but the taxes were £23.??. I think today flights are going for 99p. Be careful when you are booking they have a nasty habit of adding charges for baggage, insurance, credit/debit cards etc. Dave
